TEARS over Raindrops

Over Rain drop

I opened my eyes
Leaned sideward and stared at the window
It’s raining again
Heaven’s crying
All around it’s gloomy
Cold and chilly
Alone at last
It’s past 9 o’clock
Been in bed so long for the first time
Had a sleep I never had for a while
Past 9 o’clock
To stay is all I want
I don’t want to move
I don’t want to have my eyes wide open
I don’t want to see the clock
Nor hear it tickling
I don’t want to hear anything
Just the rain
Just the sound pouring of the heaven crying

The psalmist says:
It is vain for you to Rise Up early,
To sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows
For so he giveth his beloved sleep

So I closed my Eyes
I’m not going to school
I’ll sleep more
